Joshua’s particular interests include advanced cardiac imaging - with a focus on cardiac CT and real-time 4D echocardiography - as well as interventional cardiology, congenital heart disease, and cardiac surgery. He is the Founder and Clinical Lead of the RVC Mitral Valve Transcatheter Edge-to-Edge Repair (M-TEER) programme and is committed to advancing interventional and imaging capabilities through the introduction of novel techniques and procedures, supported by close collaboration with specialists in human cardiology. He works closely with the cardiac surgery service, contributing to complex case selection, procedural planning, advanced imaging, and peri-operative management. In addition, he serves as Interim Director of the ACVIM Cardiology Residency Training Programme at the RVC and is actively involved in resident supervision and undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.
