Kate is a Teaching Fellow in the Department of Comparative Biomedical Sciences. Based at the Camden Campus, she teaches Anatomy and related subjects to students on the BVetMed, Graduate (Accelerated) BVetMed, Gateway and BSc Biological and Bioveterinary Sciences courses.

Kate graduated with her Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery at the University of Nottingham in 2018. She has worked as a veterinary surgeon in a variety of first opinion small animal practices particularly enjoys surgery and client comunication. In 2023 Kate became a teaching fellow at the RVC and likes sharing her knowledge of clinnically relevant anatomy with students. 

Kate is an adademic tutor for BVetMed and GAB students and is passionate about inclusivity and accessibility in anatomy teaching and the veterinary profession. She has also helped lead the Anatomy Team in improving their environmental sustainability, winning them a Silver Green Impact Award in 2024 and Gold in 2025. 

Kate has completed the Post Graduate Certificate in Veterinary Eduction in 2024, is a Fellow of Higher Education and is currently undertaking the PGDiploma Vet Ed.

Kate is a member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons and Institute of Anatomical Sciences.

Kate is a member of the Support Hub for Anatomy Research Education (SHARE) at the RVC.

Kate teaches anatomy and related subjects to BVetMed, Accellerated BVetMed, BSc Bioveterinary Science and Gateway Students. She is the Module Leader for Principles of Animal Form and Function, and Unit Leader for the Urinary System, in the Graduate Accelerated BVetMed Year.
