Mr Marc Armour
Campus: Hawkshead
Marc graduated from RVC in 2018, after which he spent time in small animal general practice in the North West. He attended the University of Liverpool’s Small Animal Teaching Hospital for a rotating internship in 2021. After developing an interest in anaesthesia and acute perioperative care, he completed an ECVAA residency at Lumbry Park Veterinary Specialists. As a Staff Clinician, Marc enjoys the complex challenges of anaesthetising critically ill animals and providing support to students, interns and residents alike, whilst continually developing his own skills and knowledge. He looks forward to completing the ECVAA board examinations in 2025 and earning his Diploma. After this he plans to enjoy travelling, visiting the theatre and art galleries and spending time with friends, family and his darling, elderly, grump cat, Dorothy!
Marc has published scientific reports detailing complications of locoregional anaesthesia and research investigating non-invasive blood pressure measurement techniques. He is interested in error prevention and human factors as well as investigating methods of improving clinical outcomes and reducing perianaesthetic morbidity.
