Rebekah is a Lecturer in Small Animal Orthopaedics at the RVC and is Deputy Head of Orthopaedics at the RVC's Queen Mother Hospital for Animals (QMHA). She is a European and Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Specialist in Small Animal Surgery. Her role predominantly focuses on clinical work in the QMHA and teaching veterinary undergraduate and postgraduate students, but she is also involved in research into a variety of orthopaedic conditions.
Rebekah studied veterinary medicine at the RVC and qualified as a veterinary surgeon in 2012. She worked in first opinion practice for a few years before undertaking internships at Davies Veterinary Specialists and the RVC, and a European College of Veterinary Surgeons (ECVS) residency at Cambridge University Veterinary School. In 2023, she was awarded the ECVS Diploma in Small Animal Surgery and became a European and Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Recognised Specialist in Small Animal Surgery. She joined the RVC QMHA Orthopaedic team in January 2022 and is currently a Lecturer in Small Animal Orthopaedics and Deputy Head of Orthopaedics at the QMHA.

Rebekah teaches undergraduate veterinary students on the Locomotor Strand of the BVetMed course in the 2nd and 3rd years, and on clinical rotations in 5th year. She is the Co-Rotation Lead for the clinical rotation in Small Animal Orthopaedics.
Rebekah also trains and supervises post-graduate veterinarians undertaking internships and ECVS specialist training in orthopaedic surgery.
She has completed the Integrated Foundations of Medial Education course at the University of Cambridge, and has been an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (AFHEA) since 2021.
Rebekah joined the RVC QMHA Orthopaedic team in January 2022. She enjoys all aspects of orthopaedic surgery, but has a particular interest in fracture repair and arthroscopic surgery, as well as other minimally invasive surgery techniques.
