The Royal Veterinary College was one of 10 ‘Commendation Winners’ in the BBSRC’s Excellence with Impact competition, which has been run over the last three years.

The Royal Veterinary College received a special commendation for outstanding practice in the area of public dialogue and its openness around the use of animals in research.    Competitors were required to produce a ‘Vision for Impact’ at the start and to demonstrate how this had been implemented throughout the competition, culminating in a final report and presentations to a judging panel.   RVC’s ‘Vision’ focused particularly on a One Health message and championing the value of research that could be translated between applications in human and animal medicine.
