MSci student successful at International Conference
Jacob Regan (MSci student) has been successful in applying for a place to attend the Early Career Forum at ENDO 2017 in Florida in April (the world’s largest event for presenting and obtaining the latest in endocrine science and medicine). This has provided Jacob with free registration to the Early Career Forum; to ENDO 2017 and a contribution towards his travel costs. Jacob's abstract (on modelling hepatic encephalopathy)has also been accepted for a poster presentation at ENDO, for which he has been awarded an outstanding abstract prize.
The abstract has also been selected for an oral presentation for the ENDO Knockout Rounds competition. The objective of the Knockout Round talks is to describe the rationale, significance and potential translational value of the work to a diverse audience. Participants may only use a single, non-segmented PowerPoint slide with animations or video files. No sounds and props are permitted and the presentation cannot exceed three minutes and must use only spoken words.
This is a great achievement by Jacob.
