RVC part of £125 million bioscience research funding boost
The Royal Veterinary College (RVC) is part of a £125 million funding programme to drive the next generation of bioscience researchers and academics announced by Business Secretary Vince Cable.
Around £15m of the funding has been awarded to the RVC and other partner organisations of the University College London (UCL) as part of the London Interdisciplinary Doctoral programme (LIDo). The funding programme will train students in world-class bioscience in areas such as agriculture, food, industrial biotechnology, bioenergy and veterinary health.
