RVC Research Fellow profiled in Audubon
RVC Research Fellow, Ashley Heers, work is profiled in Audubon, a prominent USA magazine whose mission is to conserve and restore natural ecosystems, focusing on birds, other wildlife, and their habitats for the benefit of humanity and the earth's biological diversity.
The article "Which came first: the dinosaur or the bird" focuses on Ashley's work using the latest video and computer modeling technology to study how baby birds develop the ability to fly, looking for clues as to how birds evolved flight as they evolved from dinosaurs, which she undertook whilst working at the RVC Structure and Motion Lab with Prof. John Hutchinson.
