Michelle is currently undertaking a PhD at RVC using an action research approach to develop interventions to optimise the role of Registered Veterinary Nurses in UK small animal practice.
Michelle graduated from the University of Bristol with a BSc (Hons) in Bioveterinary Science and Veterinary Nursing (1st Class). Following her undergraduate degree, Michelle completed a MRes at the RVC alongside clinical practice.
In 2022, Michelle was a London Vet Show '30 under 30' finalist. Michelle also won the Kennel Club's ICHA Postgraduate Student Inspiration Award.

The project involves an interactive survey, consisting of realistic dog health scenarios. The aim is to explore UK dog owners' decision-making around their dog's health.
