Our surgical suite contains an orthopaedic theatre, general theatre and a theatre to perform standing surgical procedures, supported by our equine anaesthesia service.

Although several surgical procedures such as laparoscopic surgery, upper airway laser surgery and dental surgery can often be performed whilst the horse is standing, we have the ability to perform any surgical procedure under general anaesthesia, if necessary.

Our padded recovery boxes allow our specialist anaesthesia team to carry out an assisted recovery from general anaesthesia.
