2025 Breeding Prices

We are proud to offer some of the most competitive pricing in the area, whilst providing individual and dedicated care to your horse. Our breeding package prices are intended to maximise the chances of getting your mare in foal at the best value. Our packages include as standard, either visits to your yard, or livery at our clinic, during the breeding process.

Pre-Breeding Package From £350 includes:

• Visit charge
• Clinical examination
• Blood sample and clitoral swabbing procedures, processing and interpretation
• Rectal examination of reproductive tract
• Ultrasound of reproductive tract
• Vaginal examination including speculum exam
• Laboratory fees for EVA/EIA bloods and CEM clitoral swab

Does not include: Sedation, which will be required where stocks are not available.

Chilled AI package: From £540 for the first cycle, subsequent cycles are From £480 each.

Frozen AI package: From £660 for the first cycle,  subsequent cycles are From £600 each.

Included in package:

• 5 x visits or days livery at our clinic
• All routine gynaecological procedures including 5 ultrasound examinations
• Induction of ovulation
• Routine breeding drugs where required (prostaglandin, deslorelin, HCG and oxytocin)
• Artificial insemination
• Semen handling and evaluation, storage where required for frozen semen
• 1 post breeding lavage (flush) if required
• 1 pregnancy scan at 14-16 days

Not included:

• Sedation - this will be mandatory where stocks are not available
• Treatment for post breeding endometritis, including caslicks procedure
• Any further pregnancy scans including the heartbeat scan (recommended around 28 days)
• Management of twin pregnancies
