First ever Fulbright scholar at the RVC
The Fulbright scholarship programme enables opportunities and exchanges between the USA and the UK. Sara Dada was the first Fulbright Scholar to study at the RVC. She tells us about her experiences of studying for her MSc One Health (Infectious Diseases).
“It was an absolute honour to be the first Fulbright Scholar at the RVC this year. My experience on the MSc One Health course was valuable because of the setting London provides to study global health, the diversity of my course mates, and the support of the Fulbright programme. I had great opportunities to travel throughout
the UK and Europe with both course mates and fellow Fulbrighters and
I think that the times we shared and the conversations we had were some of
the most influential aspects of my year. I learned so much outside of the classroom and so many doors were opened by the Fulbright grant. I have just completed my course and look forward to diving further into the field of global health and international
development and potentially pursuing a PhD in the near future.”
