FARM VETERINARY SUMMER SCHOOL
         The Farm Veterinary Summer School is the latest
         edition to the RVC’s esteemed collection of vacation
         schools. Hosted at Sparsholt College in Hampshire,
         where students reside in en-suite accommodation with
         full-board catering, students on the programme spend
         six days undertaking practical activities and become
         immersed in all things agricultural. Experiences on the
         programme may include educational visits to livestock

                                                               From my experience, Gateway was a nice mix of practical
                                                               work (lab work, dissections, animal handling) and theory,
                                                               which was broken up into lectures and group work
                                                               (directed learning sessions). This additional year was
                                                               instrumental in helping me adjust to university life and
                                                               settle into my new surroundings.”
