In recognition of the Veterinary Nurses who work at the Royal Veterinary College, we are delighted to announce the winners of this year's VN awards.

The awards showcase and celebrate the RVC’s RVNs and student VNs from all three of the RVC’s hospitals for their outstanding patient care, commitment, hard work and innovation – veterinary nurses who make a difference every day.

RVC Staff and students nominated inspiring individuals who stand out because they go above and beyond to provide outstanding patient care and leadership, or who enhance our students’ clinical experience.

We were overwhelmed by the number of nominations from staff and students from all three hospitals. Please join us in saying a very well-deserved thank you and congratulations to our award winners:

Rising Star Award

1st Place: Keziah Beels (Equine Referral Hospital)
Runner up: Oriane Phillips (Beaumont Sainsbury Animal Hospital)

Leading Light Award

1st Place: Ana Costa (QMHA)
Runner up: Gemma Cooper (QMHA)

Outstanding Patient Care Award

1st Place: Molly Rogerson (BSAH)
Runner up: Katie Franklin (QMHA)

Outstanding Student Support (student voted)

1st Place: Rhiannon Williams (BSAH)
Runner up: Bee King (QMHA)

The awards will be presented on Thursday 13th June at 6pm at the Buttery before the VN BBQ and all RVC staff are welcome to come along and celebrate with the winners of these awards
