The RVC is once again the most highly ranked in London for its student experience in the latest Times Higher Education (THE) Student Experience Survey 2017.

The RVC is also the highest-ranking HEI in the UK with an accredited veterinary programme.

Now in its twelfth year, THE Student Experience Survey is unique in that it looks beyond the usual definition of student experience – comprising largely of teaching, learning, assessment and feedback – to a broader definition, one created by students themselves that includes those aspects of university life that matter most to them.

The annual survey measures 21 areas of satisfaction and takes data from over 15,000 student returns.  The RVC was particularly pleased to be ranked 8th in Academic Experience and 4th for Student Welfare.

Professor Stuart Reid, RVC Principal, comments ‘I am once again delighted by our showing in this year's survey and to see us the top HEI with an accredited veterinary school and 2nd ranked specialist institution in the UK. The winning combination of welfare and academic provision sets us apart in London - a great student experience in a great city’.
