Due to the busy nature of the laboratory we cannot easily take phone calls and can answer your queries on biopsy submission, biopsy processing or veterinary administrative items more efficiently by using the email address below.

Until further notice we will only be open Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and can only receive samples on these days. We will be limiting the number of biopsy samples we can receive on each of the three days and these samples will need to be booked in in advance via email please with a minimum of 48 hours’ notice, but preferably with a week’s notice. Plant samples do not need to be pre-booked with us but please ensure your samples arrive on one of the 3 days listed above.

If you are a horse owner wishing to submit plant samples for toxin analysis for atypical myopathy please read the information sheet on the diagnostic services link and see the FAQs as many of the questions are already answered here. If owners need to discuss the results from the test, you will need to contact your own vet for advice.
