Equine Pregnancy Laboratory
The overarching goals of our laboratory are to:
- further our understanding of the mechanisms that regulate the growth and survival of the equine embryo and fetus through studies of normal and failing pregnancies, ultimately improving equine reproductive health, efficiency and welfare.
- use our studies of horse pregnancy to inform us about key basic biological mechanisms relevant to human reproductive health.
- educate and train undergraduate and graduate students and support career progression of postdoctoral researchers.
