What to do if your pet is ill
When an animal becomes ill, often a mixture of physical symptom and behavioural changes show us something is wrong. Sometimes these changes are sudden or they can evolve over time.
The best piece of advice we have is to call us straight away to discuss your concerns and we will endeavour to see your sick pet as quickly as possible.
Twelve common signs your pet may need veterinary treatment:
- Vomiting
- Diarrhoea
- Blood in stools/faeces
- Lack of appetite
- Reduced activity levels
- Urinating more frequently
- Urinating less frequently
- Coughing
- Hair loss
- Itchy skin
- Stiffness in movement
- Lameness
