Uniquely, the QMHA is the UK’s only registered Veterinary Trauma Centre, and the Orthopaedic team working with the Emergency and Critical Care team, are highly experienced in all forms of trauma such as broken bones and ruptured joints, frequently after road traffic accidents.

We also work with highly experienced colleagues in soft-tissue surgery to ensure we get the best outcome for patients with simultaneous injuries such as bladder or lung damage or those that need skin grafting for severe wounds associated with broken bones.

We have a full range of the most advanced locking implants and can accommodate the smallest dog or cat to the largest.
