Multidisciplinary approach: The anaesthesia and pain management specialists together with other QMHA services such as physiotherapy, neurology, orthopaedic, oncology and diagnostic imaging work together to provide the best pain management for chronic conditions, such as canine osteoarthritis.

Meet the team

Johanna, Aoife, Iris and Nicola

We provide pain management and rehabilitation, allowing restoration and maintenance of a good quality of life for your pet. We perform a thorough pain assessment in conjunction with validated pain questionnaires, and we may include objective evaluations of mobility, such as gait analysis, when appropriate. We aim to establish individualised treatments for each patient.

If your animal suffers from spinal, joint, musculoskeletal, oncological, neurological or muscular pain, RVC QMHA Pain Clinic offers multidisciplinary approach to accurate diagnosis, expert advice and access to the latest treatments.

Where appropriate, we offer interventional therapies including chronic nerve blocks, western acupuncture treatments and can organise access to QMHA complementary rehabilitation therapies.
